Day 1

Bienvenidos a Mexico!

Welcome to México! We start our tour in Playa del Carmen. You fly into Cancun and we welcome you at the airport. From there you will be transferred to our hotel in Playa del Carmen. We are going to be there to help you with everything you need on your arrival day. In the afternoon we will have a welcome meeting and orientation. Afterwards, for those interested, we will go out for our first dinner in the land of tacos.

Day 2 

Merida &  Chichen Itza

Today we will start early to be one of the first visitors at the famous World Heritage Site of Chichen Itza (travel time on private van 2.5 hrs).  You will learn about the Mayan culture during a guided tour while you can be amazed by the knowledge and architecture of the ancient civilization.

After the visit we continue our journey to spend the next two nights in Merida, the capital of Yucatan (2 hrs on private van).

Day 3

Merida & Cenote tour

After breakfast we head out on a private van to explore the stunning and refreshing Mayan Cenotes and caves (1 hrs on private van). Bring your swimmers, a towel, underwater camera (optional) and let's go on another adventure. After our lunch at the site, we head back to the city where you can enjoy a free afternoon in Merida. Explore the 'white city',  go souvenir shopping in one of the many little shops, experience the fruit and vegetable market or show your dance moves by blending with the locals on the street.

Day 4

Travel to Palenque

Put on your comfy clothes sit back and enjoy the scenery through the window on a comfortable, air-conditioned coach to travel to Palenque. You will be surprised of the high standard of Mexico's transportation system (travel time 9 hrs on comfortable public coach).

In the evening we will arrive at our bungalows in the jungle near the ruins, where we will spend the next three nights.

 Day 5

Palenque archeological site

The extensive archeological site of Palenque is located within the jungle. During a guided tour, you will learn about how the ancient ruins were rediscovered and how many more are still hidden under the lush jungle. Enjoy the afternoon at the pool of our jungle lodge, enjoy a massage or go out and explore the nearby town.

 Day 6

Palenque, Waterfalls day trip

Today we want to show you our favorite waterfalls of the jungle: Roberto Barrios and Misol-Ha. For the adventurous ones, you have the chance to walk along the formations, jump off the waterfalls and to slide into the swimming areas. Or take it easier and just relax in the beautiful infinity pools. (travel time to the waterfalls 1 hr on private van).

Days 7

Travel day to Bacalar and enjoy the 7-color lagoon

We head east towards the Caribbean to the fresh water lagoon of Bacalar and its unbelievable colors (7 hrs on private van). No filter in your camera could match the real colors of the lagoon in front of you. The small town has not been reached  by massive tourism yet. We will spend 2 nights here.

Days 8

Boat tour on Bacalar Lagoon

Enjoy the morning at your own terms; attend a yoga class, go SUP, kayaking or simply enjoy the view over the lagoon while having a coffee. In the afternoon, explore more of the lagoon during our smooth & relaxing boat tour. Sunbathe, chill and swim in this paradise.

Day 9

Travel day to Playa del Carmen, México 

Today we travel north to Playa del Carmen (3.5 hrs on private van). Once a tiny fisherman village it is now the fastest growing city in Mexico. You will find all the souvenirs you still want to purchase, beach to relax, a wide choice of restaurants with delicious food from all over the world and an incredible and colorful nightlife.

Day 10

Free day in Playa del Carmen

Enjoy your last day of the tour at your own pace. Beach time, day trip to Cozumel, day trip to Tulum, more cenotes, shopping, or a venture on a once in a lifetime experience and swim with the impressive whale sharks. Those are some of the options you have on your last day at the Caribbean. In the evening we will have our last dinner and celebrate the conclusion of a fantastic tour with a couple of drinks.

Day 10

Departure Day

Time to say goodbye. There are no activities scheduled for the day. So you can leave any time.
