Day 1

Bienvenidos a Mexico!

Welcome to México! We start our tour in Playa del Carmen. You fly into Cancun and we welcome you at the airport. From there you will be transferred to our hotel in Playa del Carmen. We are going to be there to help you with everything you need on your arrival day. In the afternoon we will have a welcome meeting and orientation. Afterwards, for those interested, we will go out for our first dinner in the land of tacos.

Day 2

Day tour to Tulum Beach, Ruins and a freshwater Cenote

Today we will take you to the famous Tulum Ruins with its spectacular scenery over a cliff in the Caribbean; a must see for anyone visiting the Riviera Maya (1 hr on a private van). Afterwards we have a short drive (25 min) to a Mayan cenote, a freshwater sinkhole, that is fed by the underground river system of the Yucatan peninsula. You have the chance to swim in its crystal-clear water and be amazed by the stalactite and stalagmite formations. Afterwards we will head to the white beaches of Tulum, where you have time to relax, sunbathe, swim and to let the first impressions of Mexico sink in. After an exciting day full of highlight we head back to our hotel in Playa del Carmen (1 hr van ride).

Day 3

Free day in and around Playa del Carmen

You decide how you want to spend the day.

You feel like relaxing? No problem, Playa del Carmen has all you need. Chill at one of the many beaches, go souvenir shopping or have a coffee at one of the many cafés along the 5th Avenue and enjoy the vibrant vibe of the city.

You are interested in Mayan culture? Take a day tour to one of the new seven wonders of the world: Chichen Itza.

Day 4

Travel to Holbox

Today we head to the tranquil Holbox Island with its laid-back Caribbean vibes.  After breakfast we will travel on a private air-conditioned van to Chiquila (3 hrs) before we hop on a 30 minute ferry ride to cross to the island of Holbox. The entry of any vehicles to this paradise is not allowed, so we will commute by golf cart, bike or on foot from now on. After checking into our hotel, we will show you around the charming fisherman village, the only settlement on the island. Don’t miss out on the abundant fresh seafood during your stay on the island.

Day 5

Free day & optional whale shark experience

If you have booked this tour during June and September, you have the chance to swim with the amazing whale sharks. These up to 14 meter ( 45 ft) long animals come every year to this part of the world to feed on plankton. All our departures are during full moon, which gives you the highest chance to have an incredible experience with the gentle giants. If you get lucky, you will also encounter manta rays, dolphins and other marine life during this activity of a lifetime.

We have worked several years with the whale sharks and we are happy to answer all your questions about the experience and will make sure you are well prepared for this optional activity. (The whale shark experience is optional and not included in the tour price.)

 Day 6

Holbox Island Tour

Time to see more of the island with it's sandy roads, colorful street art and Caribbean vibes. Our personal highlight is the endless pristine beach with the unique colors of a sea that is created by a mix of the Caribbean and the Golf of Mexico. Lay back and let us take you around by boat, golf cart and foot. Are you ready?

Day 7

Travel to Isla Mujeres & Golf-cart island Tour

After breakfast we will cross over to the mainland by ferry where we will board our private van again. After a 2.5 hrs van ride we will hop on a ferry ride (20 min) to our next island: Isla Mujeres. Don’t forget to have your camera handy and your phone charged: the ocean colors during the ferry ride will amaze you! Let's go an included golf cart tour around the island with its beautiful views over the ocean. Today you are going to go the beach that many people have rated as the best beach of Mexico: Playa Norte

 Days 8

Isla Mujeres

Time to relax and enjoy. Now that you know the island you pick your favorite place to enjoy the day in paradise. You are looking for more action: This is the second destination where you can go on a whale shark tour and snorkel excursions to the nearby reefs, an underwater museums and a catamaran tour are also available.

 Day 9

Departure

Time to say goodbye.

If you fly out from Cancun, please book your return flight not earlier than 12 pm. If you want to extend your holidays along the Riviera Maya we are can help you to choose your vacation resort and organize the transfer to the extension of your vacation.
